Outstanding YouTubers
WORLD-CLASS CREATORS AND ENTREPRENEURS
I have been following your lives for the past decade or so – your dreams, your trials and your accomplishments, your support of the tech community and of the wider world community all around you, in its glorious diversity.
I have sometimes been the quiet background presence in this family of websites that I have created-and I feel that this is the appropriate time for me to continue with your varied life journeys in a more direct way.
That’s why you will be seeing me more frequently with timely items from both my personal life and the worldwide community. It will be my pleasure to get to share our lives and experiences. At age 74, I remain humbled by your many accomplishments. At the same time, in many ways I remain the 20-year-old geek, and identify with your goals and especially with your generally determined and optimistic outlook.

I cover a lot of topics that interest me. Are there any that you’d like me to add? Also, would you want to suggest a different format for this section to improve its readability or general clarity? Please use the CONTACT FORM at the bottom of the page.
First on my list today is to remind you of a special site recognizing the tech community.
Next, I want to share with you a fantastic source for learning everything you need to know to approach Artificial Intelligence. Best of all, it’s completely free!

I spend a lot of time working with technology, but the more I use it, the more I realize that it’s just a tool. What really keeps me going with my websites isn’t the tech itself – it’s the spark of creativity and the passion behind it.
Have you noticed the same thing in your own work?
I came across a video recently that really made me stop and think, and I’d love for you to watch it too.
The Secret Sauce of Creativity with Stephen Hall.
ON A PERSONAL NOTE
What it means to me “to be a survivor.”
Like fellow YouTuber Jon Barr, I am a cancer survivor. As a result, I went from being a regular at my local gym to having to wear a mask at all times in my large senior facility and to avoid any kind of group activities. I have close friends in the facility and on the social media. I used to travel extensively and lived in Europe as a youngster, so I like to escape with BritBox and Netflix, and also enjoy “revisiting” my former haunts via YouTube and other video sources.
I am an optimist by nature, and choose to focus on the positive-which can be a challenge given the current political situation. Everyday, I remain grateful to be alive and enjoy the little pleasures that life presents to me.

My personal commitment to give you the best in compelling tech-oriented destinations and resources extends across the family of my websites – which, in the end, are your websites. Stay tuned!
Just a brief follow up to my original posting.
You may have noticed a few changes across our family of websites in recent weeks and months. Some were small adjustments, others more substantial. My goal throughout has been to make each site clearer, faster to use, and easier to navigate.
I’m continuing to review and refine things behind the scenes, making steady improvements wherever they’re needed. The aim is simple: to keep raising the quality of our sites so they work better for you and reflect the standard I want them to represent.
